Joseph Tuttle joined the staff of St. John’s as Organist and Choir Director in August of 2014. He originally hails from the New York Metro Area, and relocated to Pittsburgh in 2006. He earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Organ and Sacred Music from Duquesne University in 2010 and 2014 respectively. In addition to his ministry at St. John’s, Joseph was appointed Chapel Organist at St. Anthony’s Chapel on Troy Hill in August of 2014, where he plays weeknight liturgies, weddings, and funerals. Since 2007 he has worked for the Pittsburgh-based organ-building firm Luley & Associates, building and maintaining pipe organs in the Western Pennsylvania region. Additionally, he enjoys cooking, reading, travel, and entertaining at his home in the South Hills. He resides in Lincoln Place in the City of Pittsburgh.
