Today our Gospel lesson reminds us to be generous with what we have, giving us the perspective that our treasure is in heaven and not in earthly things. And when our hearts and minds are set on God, it is like the servant whose call is to be ready for their master. So be dressed for action and have your lamps lit, because God is calling you and calling us to service.
