In our readings for today we hear all about the human tongue and what a blessing and a curse it can be. We learn today that we must strive to continually allow God to open our ears and not be rebellious but rather allow God to help us as we attempt to speak so that we have words that sustain the weary, words that build up, words that bring life. And when we become weary with the task, we must listen for the grace that is there for us too, moving us forward in faith like Peter and the disciples, so that we might continue to hear the Good News and share it with our tongues and very beings.
